When the World Ag Expo opens its doors next week, water will be a big topic on everyone’s minds.

After all, water is the cornerstone of agriculture. Without it, seeds can’t germinate, crops can’t mature, and food production is impossible. That’s one of the many reasons Sam Baldivia attends the farm show every year, representing Fruit Growers Supply and showcasing our latest irrigation system technology. This year, he’ll be joined by co-workers like Gerardo Garcia, the supervisor who oversees the irrigation department’s in-house installation crews. All customers looking to improve their irrigation systems are encouraged to visit Baldivia, Garcia, and the rest of the FGS team at booths 2319, 2320, 2419, and 2420 in Irrigation Pavilion B.

We’re not the only irrigation experts at the World Ag Expo, though. On February 13th — the final day of the three-day event — the farm show will host seven different water-related seminars, covering everything from the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act to variable rate fertilizer application. A list of those seminars, along with appropriate times, is below.

  • 9:30 a.m. – 9:55 a.m. — “Planning Around Limits: SGMA Strategies”
  • 10 a.m. – 10:25 a.m. – “Become Your Own Well Whisperer”
